I have been here for over a week as a privilege guest and I can honestly say I've never been so pampered in my life. The staff are incredible, the amenities are exactly as pictured and better, there is always something fun to do or see right on the resort. Ocean Riveria Paradise is also as eco friendly as possible and very anti-scam. Staff will happily advise you on which sources are most reputable for booking your excursions. Our butler Ariz is the kindest human I've ever met, willing to meet our every request with a smile on her face. I saw some negative reviews of the place right before coming and they could not be more wrong, staff are friendly and funny, there's enough food variety to feed even a picky eater like me. Would highly recommend!

Overall, the place is nice and clean. I wouldn't come back to this place though. When it comes to the bartenders, they are nice and willing to help you and serve you any drinks you want. When it comes to serving you in the Buffet area, that's another story.... they won't come to you and ask if you need/want anything. Basically you have to ask and wait until they decide to come and serve you. They weren't rude, just not very thoughtful. Rooms are kept clean daily. Good thing. The wildlife here is very pretty and my daughters enjoyed the animals. I'm not so picky but overall, I feel like the attention to the customers need to be a little better. Maybe I'm just used to the Dominican Republic. The food at the buffet was good, not amazing though. The Mexican and Steak place were great but the wait for the food was long. If I could choose to come back to Playa del Carmen, I will definitely try a different place.

We spent 5 days in Ocean Paradise. It was first time at an all-inclusive and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The evening shows were great. We watched the musical and Disney show. Our kids was entertained throughout the show. At the end of the Disney show, there was even an opportunity to take photos with the characters. The restaurants and buffet at the resort were decent. In the buffet restaurants, we were served by Yuli, Manuel & Juan. They were all friendly. It was a nice and relaxing vacation.

I’ll start by saying the star rating is only for the Blue Moon restaurant on property at the resort. We stayed in the El Beso (adults only) section of the resort which granted us access to the Blue Moon for breakfast. Definitely the best breakfast spot on the property and the staff was really friendly. We went nearly every day of our stay. We dropped in for diner tonight and had a wonderful meal. Our server, Adrian, was very welcoming and more than happy to help us practice our Spanish. The manager, Trevino, even stopped by the table to ensure everything was to our liking. Highly recommend the Blue Moon if you’re staying at the resort. As for the resort itself, it’s fine. The buffet is a little bland and many of the dishes around the property use more cheese than I think one person can eat. Some of the room amenities are showing their age and could stand some more maintenance. There are a few bright spots. Sakura and Route 66 were very good and the mixology programs at the individual restaurants are creative and well executed. The staff, as a whole, were inviting and attentive and made this an overall positive experience.

The La Locanda is the best restaurant in resort! Gamaliel is a such amazing waiter! His service is excellent, he is very tactful, attentive! Interacting with him is a great pleasure during dinner! All the best wishes!

We got married at this resort. I can't even begin to explain how perfect our special day turned out. It was beautiful in every way. Our wedding coordinator, Sandra, was so attentive to our needs. She made sure everything was perfect. Our minister knew exactly what to say to pull heart strings. Her voice and mannerisms was like an Angel blessing the ceremony. I don't know how else to explain it. We were married on the beach and finished the cocktails and reception in the Ballroom. It was perfect. The romantic dinner on the beach will blow you away. I have never experienced anything so romantic in my life. It created a memory of a lifetime. I highly recommend a wedding there.

Rooms are nice but not very well maintained. The Spa is also dated and not maintained very well. Nice beach area and there is plenty to do including a bowling alley. The staff is excellent when they are not overworked. The French and Japanese restaurants are the best.

Recent stay just prior to Christmas. Medium family group of 14 people. The hotel has several sections of hotel rooms and each caters to a different type of customer. One building has a kids pool for younger children. Another building has a pool for the older generation (calmer and quieter). Another building is the party building for the party group and lots of activities. The hotel has about 7 restaurants on the property so you have lots of choices for food. They were all excellent food and excellent service. The buffet has every type of food you could want. The hotel has a walking path that goes directly to the beach with another hotel and restaurant at the end of the path. All inclusive packages include food and alcohol. Food is excellent and alcohol is good quality, readily available and excellent service. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this location in Mexico.
